Every trek you take with us is backed by a fully licensed and professionally trained team. All our guides hold official trekking licenses issued by the Government of Nepal, certified by TAAN and the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHAM). Their training includes route navigation, altitude safety, medical response, first aid, and emergency procedures.

Founder / Director
Saroj Ghimire, the co-founder of Global Nepal Tours, has been an active and passionate member of Nepal’s tourism industry since 2006. Starting his journey as a trekking assistant, he worked his way up with dedication and determination, eventually becoming one of Nepal’s most respected mountain guides. In 2011, he secured his trekking guide license with top ranking in his class.
With extensive experience across the Himalayas, Saroj is not only a seasoned guide but also a strong advocate for sustainable tourism and cultural preservation. Fluent in English and deeply committed to Nepal’s heritage, he believes that meaningful services and genuine values are the foundation of a successful travel company. He continues to inspire young adventurers to join the tourism sector with professionalism and passion.
Keshar Sherpa
Senior Mountain Guide
Born in the heart of the Everest region, Keshar Sherpa carries the spirit of the mountains within him. Energetic, curious, and endlessly adventurous, he loves exploring new places and discovering the myths and stories hidden within them. Keshar thrives on crossing high mountain passes and challenges that keep his adventurous soul alive.
He is officially certified by NATHAM and has completed First Aid training with the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP). Friendly and knowledgeable, Keshar ensures that every journey is safe, meaningful, and memorable.
Chudamani Bhatta
Senior Trekking Guide
Originally from the Langtang region, Chudamani brings more than 30 years of trekking experience to the team. Known for his warm personality, professionalism, and deep familiarity with the Langtang and Annapurna regions, he has earned the love and trust of trekkers from around the world. His NATHAM certification and decades of field expertise make him a highly dependable guide for Himalayan adventures.
Yubaraj Poudel (Prince)
Co-Founder / Tour Operator
Based in Kathmandu, Yubaraj is a dedicated tour specialist with over 9 years of experience organizing tours across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Health and is a licensed Tour and Trekking Guide approved by the Government of Nepal.
Yubaraj is known for his welcoming nature and his expertise in managing trekking, tours, paragliding, rafting, and various adventure experiences. Fluent in Malaysian, Nepali, Hindi, some Chinese, and English, he thrives on interacting with international travelers and helping them make the most of their Himalayan journey.
Dikshya Randhawa
French & Mauritius Coordinator
Diksha, originally from Mauritius, first visited Nepal in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the country. After exploring Nepal and Bhutan once again in 2019 with Global Nepal Tours, she proudly considers Nepal her second home.
Alongside coordinating for French and Mauritian travelers, she is also involved in charitable activities, supporting local orphanages with food and clothing during her visits. Fluent in Creole French, English, and Hindi, she warmly welcomes travelers seeking reliable insights and genuine local experiences.

Rosita Frei
